“When is it okay not to have a goal?”

Sounds like a strange question coming from someone in fitness…

But stay with me.

Because I actually think goals can sometimes put people off starting.

You think:

“I need to lose X weight”

“I need to get fitter first”

“I need a proper plan”

…and before you know it…

You haven’t started at all.

Whereas…

If you just showed up…

Got a bit stronger…

Moved your body…

Felt better…

That consistency alone?

That is the goal.

And funnily enough…

It usually leads you to the result you wanted anyway.

We see this all the time at Fruci Fit.

People come in thinking:

“I don’t really have a goal…”

A few weeks later?

– They feel stronger

– They’ve got more energy

– They’re more confident

– They’re doing things they didn’t think they could

And then…

They set a goal.

Whether that’s around showing up and being consistent…

Getting stronger..

Doing an event like our in house event, FruciRox, or a Longevity Games

BUT…

There’s also another side to this.

If right now you’re thinking:

“I’m not doing anything…”

“I’ve lost motivation…”

“Things are getting harder…”

Then a question that can really help is:

“Where will I be in 5 years if nothing changes?”

Because sometimes…

That’s the nudge we need.

Either way…

You don’t need to have it all figured out to start.

Which is exactly why we are running this starting tomorrow
