What those who get the best results do…

It’s something I see often now,

Having been personal training, working in the NHS in diabetes, Public Health and also doing postgraduate research in diabetes over the past 17 years…

The people who seem to get the best results?

Well, sure, I could talk about the support, accountability, protein, intake, resistance exercise….etc…

But something that REALLY stands out?

Making their WORSE day a little bit better

^^ read that again

It’s the mindset to be able to focus on what they CAN do..

Rather than 

“I can’t do this”

Because of XYZ, be it work, life getting in the way…

The focus is 

“What COULD I do”

Something that I did yesterday morning.

Had a workout planned.

But a few things came up..

So it became

A bit of work…

A bit of giving the baby some milk

A bit of playing with the kids

And a bit of working out..

And you know?

That BIT of working out I did ?

Does more than I think it does..

It wasn’t perfect..

But the difference over time?

Thinking all or SOMETHING

Rather than all or NOTHING…

And it’s this mindset that might just help you to 

Not just ‘get in shape for Summer’

But get in shape and stay in shape…
