What is it about throwing food in the bin?
And it being such an issue.
My daughter might leave some food
And I can feel myself thinking:
1) Leave it for her for later
Or
2) EAT IT…
But it doesn’t stop there.
Did you know that you eat 92% of what you serve?
Maybe it’s from childhood
Used to hearing that you must ‘finish your plate’
Who knows?
Either way, what I’m talking about today is the fact you may not be getting the results you want because of these habits
The ‘odd’ slice of cheese whilst making a sandwich (Yes…I’m guilty!!) <<< 100 calories
Cream in your coffee (guilty) << 100 calories
The lattes << 130 calories
The biscuit you get with your coffee when getting your hair done <<< 80 calories
The salad cream in a wrap
Now, I’m not saying these are bad (I do them all of the time)
And they are all okay
As long as you are AWARE of what you’re doing…
As otherwise?
It’s pretty frustrating when you think you’re doing everything right and the nothing is working..
But what I’m leading up to is this:
Change starts with ACCEPTANCE and self-awareness.
You see, if there’s just ONE thing you take from this
And apply to any health and fitness thing that you do
It’s being aware of when ‘feeling STUFFED’
and having ‘had enough’
After all, there’s a difference between being ‘full’ and ‘having enough’
And one might actually be the cause of feeling bloated and lethargic…
So today..
Grab a pen and paper
And just clock when you do it.
How are you feeling? What emotions are you feeling? Stressed? Tired? Procrastinating on something?
Just become aware of the trigger…
That’s all I got for today…
I’m off to set up our first of 2 early morning sessions for the ladies on our Fit For Life Programme
