noun – “the usual, average, or typical state or condition”
adjective – “conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected”
Whatever is ‘normal’ for you is what you will try to conform to, whether it’s conscious or not…
Which kind of explains why people stay the same.
And why we don’t do anything about it
We get used to being stressed, tried, saying no to doing things we really want to do…
AndI get it…
it’s EASIER to stay the same…
and it’s HARD to change… even if you really want to
It took me SOOOO long to get over my public speaking struggle…
So how do you change?
well, here are 2 tips to get you started
1- Start being HONEST and aware of what you currently (all change starts here)
2- Get some support, be it a friend, family member, or a even a coach who’s helped people just like you before
So what is ‘normal’ to you?
It’s like I got this message from Rosie the other week:
“here we are with two of our 5 grandchildren…at mini rugby.
So much more able to enjoy these activities nowadays.”
In other words, I guess what I’m saying is what is important to you?
