Free Workout & Why 95% of People Can’t Keep The Weight Off

So, I’ve been recording a few 8 minute workouts for the ladies on our Fit For Life Body Transformation Programme this week whilst away in Cornwall for a few days with the family:

It’s amazing how despite all of the toys and ithings I could give my 22 month old daughter…
A spade, bucket and a beach ( even in the rain) wins…

The simple things.

Why am I telling you this?

Well, I get it can seem confusing in this diet, heath and weight loss industry.

We end up going round and round in circles (like a confused crab)​​

But one thing I KNOW is that EVERYONE I’ve worked with has lost weight before. 

The good thing about this is that it simply means you know how to do half the battle.

so I guess we can agree that diets DO WORK in terms of losing weight…

But why is it that only 5% keep the weight off?

Why is it that if you look at SCIENTIFIC data on weight loss diets, you can’t really recommend diets as a viable solution for weight loss?

(Given that 95% fail to keep the weight off…)

Well, I’m not going to give you some miracle answer here and trick you into believing it’s as simple as ‘gluten’, ‘dairy’, or ‘sugar’.

But what I will do is give you 3 points which might help you THINK DIFFERENTLY about this weight loss stuff:

1. They looked at yoyo dieting (on / off dieting) and showed that the second time they dieted it took twice as long to lose the same amount of weight…even with the same calories 

2. ​​Second time around they also regained the weight 3 times faster…

3. So what do I recommend :

Strategy 1: Eat a slightly higher protein / fibre diet (aim for a portion of protein at every meal and aim for one more portion of vegetables today than you ate yesterday)

Strategy ​​2: Do some muscle strengthening exercise (like this workout HERE:

to help you lose unwanted BODY FAT rather than just ‘weight’ which can mean muscle loss as well (not great for ageing, health and body shape)

Strategy 3: Accept that you can’t have the results you want yesterday and that modifying your BEHAVIOURS and HABITS over time is actually the secret  …there is no ONE magic diet….it’s actually a mindset thing..

^^^ You’ll get where you want to be WAYYYY quicker by doing this…​​
