But you can enjoy Christmas without undoing everything.
It’s a question I get a lot every single year.
And my answer doesn’t really change. Because when you’re consistent and don’t follow trends? You usually get better results (like we talk about in the 28 Day Kickstart).
Here are 3 simple tips that actually work:
1. Only eat when you’re sat down
Most “mystery calories” come from standing, picking and nibbling.
Follow the “sit to eat” rule — it creates instant awareness. Even if you don’t do it 100%, when you at eating, consider how aware you are of what you’re eating. If you’re eating it, you may as well enjoy it
2. Have protein at every meal
Eggs, Greek yoghurt, chicken, fish, mackerel, tofu, beans… whatever you like.
Protein = fuller for longer = fewer cravings.
3. Think “credits & debits”
Not good/bad foods — just what you’ve had across the day.
Eat leaner in the day, enjoy flexibility later (meals out, family meals, etc.). It’s what I do so I have more calories to “spend” when eating with the kids in the evening.
