A Boring Tip For Bloating, IBS & Emotional Eating

So, last week during one of our coaching sessions, a few of the ladies started chatting about what they feel is working for them right now in terms of losing weight, health, diabetes, bloating, IBS, emotional eating etc…

And it became quickly apparent that despite the fact we live in a world where science is adding years on to our lives AND will even completely change the way doctors work as we’ll be able to see symptoms of a certain disease via an app…and diagnose ourselves…

It’s the simple things that seem to help you get the best results…

And in this case of bloating, mindful eating, IBS and weight loss, it was a few very simple tips that from our Slim Without Willpower checklist.

so simple for you that you question whether they’ll even work because they’re so simple …

So, before even considering whether you have a food intolerance?

  1. * Sit down to eat your food *

Do you do this?

If yes?

Lets go one step further?

  1. * Put your knife and fork down in-between mouthfuls *

Why?

Well, believe it or not, but if you’re stressed? Your mind is focussed elsewhere on work, emails and what you’re doing tonight and tomorrow whilst you’re eating?

This could stop you feeling full up and digesting your food properly.

Which could make you eat more, add unwanted fat, and leave you feeling bloated….

  1. *Slow down and chew more.*

Chewing and eating slowly makes you 42% less likely to be obese than those who gobble it down…

When researchers asked lean and obese people to chew their food 40 times, they both ate less.

AND improved levels of gut hormones linked to feeling full up and satisfied…

Could this be stopping  your “off switch” turning on? Leaving you “feeling” more hungry?

Are you up for the challenge to find out?

I have no idea if it will work for you.

But I can say with 100% certainty that it won’t work unless you try it (And I don’t mean try it once…)

After all, all these simple tips may also help you absorb more nutrients, reduce bloating and symptoms of IBS so you have more energy and feel better 😃

Let me know how you get on.
