^^ that means “toned” arms by the way, if you’re down with the kids you’ll know

Followed by:
“Suddenly I am cool again. Thanks Fruci Fit!”
Which I love.
Because when people say they want to “tone up”…
This is normally what they mean.
Not necessarily seeing a huge drop on the scales.
But feeling stronger.
Looking firmer.
Noticing more shape.
And apparently becoming cool again in the eyes of your children.
^^ arguably the hardest result to achieve. My dad jokes are certainly not helping me
So what does “toning up” actually mean?
It’s basically a combination of:
Building some muscle.
And reducing some body fat.
That stronger, firmer look usually comes from both.
So how do we do that?
Some form of resistance exercise.
Bodyweight.
Resistance bands.
Weights.
And then progressing over time.
A few more repetitions.
Better technique.
A slightly heavier weight.
A harder version when you’re ready.
Not doing the exact same thing forever and hoping things change.
Then there’s the nutrition side.
If reducing body fat is part of your goal, your overall food intake matters.
Protein helps too.
Eggs.
Fish.
Chicken.
Greek yoghurt.
Beans.
Lentils.
Or mackerel, obviously.
But the main point?
Don’t only watch the scales.
You could be getting stronger.
Building muscle.
Losing body fat.
Feeling firmer.
And noticing your clothes fit differently…
Without seeing a dramatic change in body weight every week.
That’s why at Fruci Fit we focus on more than just weight loss.
Strength.
Fitness.
Confidence.
Energy.
Mobility.
And feeling more capable in your own body.
