My leg was shaking.
To put it simply.
Last Tuesday I did my first Fruci Fit Stomach Blast session since injuring my knee playing football in November.
And wow..
I noticed the difference.
One side felt weaker.
My hip flexors had clearly been enjoying their extended holiday.
And in a few positions, my leg started shaking.
But it was a good reminder.
Your first session back isn’t always supposed to feel good.
Or look pretty.
Sometimes you have to get through that first session where everything feels harder than you remember.
The cobwebs.

The shaking.
The:
“I used to be better at this.”
Then you do it again.
You feel a little stronger.
You build your fitness back.
You start trusting your body again.
And the confidence slowly returns.
You don’t always have to want to exercise.
You don’t have to enjoy every moment of it either.
^^ although it definitely helps and we try our best to make it fun
Sometimes the benefit comes from doing the thing anyway.
Starting where you are.
Adapting when needed.
And knowing that the first session is simply the first step towards things feeling better again.
Progress.
Not perfection.
And if you’ve been putting off starting because you’re worried about how unfit, weak or rusty you might feel…
You don’t need to arrive fit.
