My go to snack

No, it’s not mackerel. 

Although I do eat a lot of mackerel. 

I also like to cook up a roast chicken on a Sunday so I have some leftovers. 

Particularly this week as I have my first of two surgeries on my knee after a football injury. 

I also like to snack on things like smoked salmon, boiled eggs, fruit etc.

But this is my current go to:

Black Forest Gateau style yoghurt:

Thaw down frozen mixed berries or just put them frozen in a bowl.

Add some Greek yoghurt (I use 5% or 0%)

Add some chocolate whey protein (I use this one https://amzn.to/49J4fsS )

Simple some dark chocolate on top (70% and up ideally). 

Mix it all up and you have a sweet tooth satisfying, high protein snack / dessert/ lunch
