You give great advice… but do you take it?

If a friend came to you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stressed… What would you say to them?

Would you say something like:

“Go for a walk.”
“Move your body a bit.”
“Eat something that makes you feel good.”
“You’ll feel better after exercising.”

We know those things work, right?
They help with stress, energy, confidence, and even sleep.

But here’s the thing…
We’re often not doing those things ourselves.

We say:
“I’ve got no time.”
“I’ll do it when things settle down.”
“I’ll wait until Monday.”
“I’ll wait until I feel motivated.”

But imagine if your friend said that to you.

You’d gently remind them that a 5-minute walk, a quick workout, or just moving a little can make all the difference — even if they don’t feel like it at first.

So maybe today is the day you start taking your own advice.

– Show yourself the same kindness you give to everyone else.
– Prioritise yourself, even if it’s just for 10 minutes (or even a 1 minute workout)
– Do something today that helps your future self feel better — more confident, more energised, more in control.
