Got this interesting question the other day:
“what do you do if you are the ‘chef’ in your house and have to cater for yourself plus husband and adult son?
They don’t need/want to go on a diet and I don’t want to cook two different meals!!!
Also why do diets make it so hard to do – different things every day for each meal, some of us don’t have time to faff about with lots of different options and for breakfast I just want to have something simple, not a cooked meal!!”
It’s a great point. Why do diets make it so hard with different things all of the time? There’s ZERO science to say that it is better for weight loss. In fact, if MIGHT put you off even starting, especially if you are short on time.
This is why, in my opinion, it has to be personalised to YOU.
So, let’s say you did want a quick and simple brekkie that didn’t require cooking.
1) Blend 250ml of milk, handful of blueberries, and either: a scoop of chocolate whey protein powder OR some cocoa powder and a tablespoon of Greek yoghurt to keep you full up
2) Have some Greek yoghurt / Soya yoghurt and grab an apple for on the go. Done
As for your fussy other half and adult kids?
But since teaming up with a Registered Dietitian and creating my Nutrition System? This solves this for you.
It has tons of ’normal’ meals that the family will eat (examples range from spag bowl, chillies and stews to curry, McDonalds and Nando’s haha), so you only have to cook / prep one meal.
The key part?
The recipe is personalised for you based on your goals and updated in the shopping list for you (that’s right, you don’t even need to write out the shopping list :-)).
And you get 14-Days access to this thrown in with my 14-Day Fit For Life Kickstart Programme which starts on Monday 30th April OR until the spaces are gone.
If you start today?
You’ll get instant access to a done for you meal plan, shopping list and home workouts straight away and then I’ll be in touch to take you through the nutrition system and get you started with your personal training.
