What happened to Pauleen

I speak a lot (as you probably know 😆)..with people (to help with the accountability)

^^ Even moreso in lockdown

After all, it’s one thing knowing what to do but another thing actually doing it.

I mean, I could learn to play an instrument, a new language and how to do magic ALL on YouTube for free.

But does it mean I’ve done it?

No. Even though I actually enjoy “trying” to learn magic.

One search and there are so many different ways of doing it

I don’t know which way is right.

I then find one person who shows a demonstration but I’m frustrated because I can’t do it 😂

Then the other person goes too quick…

Then I try reading about it…

Truth this..

The easiest way of learning is by doing..

And something we were doing with our accountability challenge at the moment is exactly that.

To help move in the right direction, no matter how small.

In fact, if you’re really struggling, try this question:

“What’s the One Thing I can do,  such that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?”

An amazing question by Gary Keller..

And this is where habits stem from,

Whether it’s building momentum, taking the first step, or more specifically

Helping with lockdown snacking…

And I get it, I spoke with one of the ladies yesterday who’s decided today that she wouldn’t go into automatic mode and think

“I have to have a biscuit with my cup of tea”

Remember,

it’s harder to create a habit than maintain it.

Consider:

What are doing instead of the habit you want to change?

What are the costs of doing the habit? Monetary? Physically? Mentally?

What are the benefits of doing the habit you want to change?

Then make your choice.

No judgement. And your decision doesn’t always have to be the one that you think you should make 😃

You see sometimes, it’s just the accountability and your answers to great questions

That are the difference between you DOING and not.

And that’s where the magic happens.

Like Pauleen said yesterday:

“Hi Matt,

Weigh in was good. I’ve now lost 13.4kg, so weighing in at 93.3kg. Hips have gone from 52inch to 46 & waist from 42 to 38.5. Remarkable really!! Got a very tight hamstring after classes yesterday so need to focus on stretching today to loosen it off.

Really pleased how it’s going. Tried on my old work trousers yesterday and they’re too big.”

Amazing!

If you’d line more info about our Home Kickstart Programme specifically for ladies 40+,

Just message me with “28 Day” and I’ll get you the details
