After FruciRox, the Longevity Games and women coming to their first Fruci Fit sessions in the recent trial week, this video from Coach Frank Dick was a brilliant reminder.

In short, he shares the story of a nine-year-old girl who ran 100 metres in 18 seconds.
Eighth out of eight.
She thought she had come last.
But she had broken the 22-second barrier and beaten the 19 seconds her coach thought she might achieve.
Her lifetime best. Her own personal world record.
Winning next time?
17.9 seconds.
Being a little bit better than she was before.
That is what “your pace is the right pace” means.
At FruciRox, winning might have been completing 2K when you nearly did not turn up.
At the Longevity Games, it might have been walking and carrying on.
^^ I walked the whole thing because of my knee rehab. I am not at the running stage yet.
And believe me, I wanted to run or just not bother..
But I felt amazing just being able to participate and do what I can.
No “I am all or nothing” from me.
In your first session, winning might be learning one exercise and leaving more confident than when you arrived.
You do not need to compare your chapter one with somebody else’s chapter twenty.
It is you vs you.
Our next £10 7 Day Trial starts Monday 21st September.
For women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s who want to rebuild their strength and confidence at their pace.
Try up to three coach-led sessions in Marlborough, Chippenham, Devizes or from home.
Message or comment “TRIAL” and I’ll send you the details.
