What a weekend! And a massive well done to every one who did The Longevity Games and the Chippenham Half Marathon on Sunday.

With many from Fruci Fit stepping outside their comfort zones, surprising themselves (in the best possible way), with some doing it for the first time, some stepping up a level and others finding it easier and more—dare I say it—FUN.

There were actually some smiles, not just because we dodged the rain and the support from the Fruci Fit community was amazing as ever. Cheering, clapping, high-fives—and some great dance moves

The track was great too, with support everywhere, you never felt alone.

Now, before we rush onto the next challenge (especially with some coming to FruciRox this weekend, our in house event where you can work at your pace), here are some tips to help with your recover:

  • Give yourself a proper pat on the back (confidence is built from evidence—you’ve earned it).
  • Stretch and keep moving (I’m saying this as much to myself as anyone else).
  • Get your protein in—whether that’s mackerel or whatever else floats your protein boat, maybe some mackerel

And if you’re sat there thinking, “I could never do that…”

Guess what? So did so many of the Fruci Fit crew this weekend, be it at the Chippenham Half Marathon or Longevity Games..

Fast forward, and they’re already planning their next event—starting with FruciRox this weekend for many, and yes… another round of the Longevity Games in November.

Your pace is the right pace. The only wrong pace? Not starting

Matt
