Is a vegetarian diet the best?

“I’ve decided to eat healthily and give up meat...”

^^^ this was the opening part of a question I got the other day from a member in my Fat Loss Mastery Body Transformation Programme

And it doesn’t surprise me. I’m now seeing and working with more vegetarians and vegans than ever before. I mean, even my daughter eats broccoli. And this is before she knows what an iPad is and that she may get 10 mins of play and a chocolate volcano brownie if she eats her greens 😉

On top of this, our friends at Harvard University found that most of us ASSUME a vegetarian diet will lower our risk of everything from heart disease to type 2 diabetes...

And it’s meant that I’ve adapted many of our plans and strategies to optimise your health, give you more energy and tone up, so that it suits your needs whether you eat meat or not.

But if your reasoning is purely for health reasons and not ethical, you may want to consider this:

A recent study of 200,000 men and women showed that:

1* Eating a plant based diet MAY reduce your risk of heart disease IF the bulk of your diet comes from foods such as pulses, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and fruits.

2* Eating a plant based diet may INCREASE your risk of heart disease if the bulk of your diet comes from “less healthy” plant based foods...

And it just goes to show that it’s not always what you do, but how you do it.

You see, simply cutting out animal products could make you nutritionally worse off than you were in the first place...

Unless of course, you’re tailoring your intake of essential nutrients to your needs to level up your energy, get fit and tone and feel more confident in your favourite clothes.

Which is exactly what we do in my Fat Loss Mastery Body Transformation Programme, whether you’re a meat eater, a vegetarian, a vegan, gluten free, dairy free…I could go on. The same simple little principles and habits done CONSISTENTLY will get your the transformational results you want once and for all.

And if it's elite level support and accountability from a Registered Nutritionist who's made a ton of mistakes in this dieting game too (me) and like-minded ladies looking to be the best versions of themselves, level up their energy and take control of their relationship with food that you're looking for..
