Just looking at me.
Important enough that you know you should do something with it…
But not quite urgent enough to stop you making a coffee and pretending it doesn’t exist.
It was from the hospital about my knee.
ACL / meniscus / football/
^^ apparently I’m not 21 anymore as everyone keeps saying .
It said I needed to book a follow-up appointment with the surgeon.
The good bit was it said:
“Remarkable progress.”
But then it also said they will assess the ACL stability and plan from there.
And for some reason…
I have kept putting off the phone call.
Not because I didn’t know I needed to do it.
I did.
Not because I wasn’t motivated.
I was.
But I think part of me didn’t want to make the call in case they told me something I didn’t want to hear, maybe?
Because things feel like they’re going very well.
My knee is feeling good.
So I kept doing that thing where you say:
“I’ll do it tomorrow.”
Then tomorrow becomes next week.
Then next week becomes “why is this letter still on the side making eye contact with me?”
Anyway…
I’ve now made the phone call.
Tiny job.
Massive build up.
And I’m sharing this because this happens with fitness all the time.
“I know I need to start.”
“I know I’d feel better.”
“I know I need to get stronger.”
“I know I should do something.”
But then there’s that little block.
What if I’m not fit enough?
What if everyone else is ahead of me?
What if I can’t keep up?
What if my knees / back / confidence / life gets in the way?
What if I start and it confirms I’m as unfit as I feel?
So you put it off.
Even though deep down, you know starting would probably help.
That’s exactly why we run the 7 Day Trial.
To help you take that first step.
Come in. Meet us.
Try up to 3 sessions.
See how we adapt things.
See how it feels.
For women 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+ and beyond who pretty much know what to do but need the plan and accountability to actually do it.
Our next 7 Day Trial weeks starts this week and then 15th June.
£10 for the week.
At your pace.

PS. Sometimes the hardest bit isn’t the workout. It’s making the call, booking the trial, walking through the door, or moving the letter off the kitchen side before it becomes part of the furniture.
