Santa & his self sabotaging thoughts

So, about this time of the year, Santa starts to worry about whether:

*he’s got the “perfect” presents

*kids will want him back next year

*rudolph has eaten enough carrots to guide his sleigh in the dark and whether they should be organic or not

And I could go on.

But the thing is, Santa is only going to know if he’s “good enough” by doing it….

Waiting for that “perfect” moment will simply lead to him stacking up the “tomorrows”

and left with a pile of empty yesterday’s.

And it’s the same when we try and lose some weight and get a bit better with our fitness and eating habits.

You’re only going to know what works or if it’s the right time for you by doing it.

And no matter what you do?

You will always want to be better. How do I know? Well, wouldn’t you like to lose 7lbs in 7 days?

It’d be great, right? But i can guarantee you’d be a little bit annoyed on the 8th day if you stayed the same. Because you always want to be better.

My point?

Enjoy the process and just get started today.

I mean, my book, SHIFT: Simple Guide To Helping Busy Ladies Think Differently and Get Their Bodies Back AND my Vegan 100 Recipe Book, are out now out and on Amazon

But I’m already not 100% happy with it and looking forward to the next one (as I’ve got so much more I want to give you).

The thing is, if I’d waited for it to be so-called “perfect”, it’d still be on my laptop.

And I wouldn’t have received such lovely messages from ladies who’ve taken simple, small, yet super effective improvements to help them lose unwanted body fat, develop a better relationship with food and put themselves first again.

The best part?

All the ideas, inspiration and feedback I’ve got from ladies looking to take control of their eating habits, fitness and relationship with food have gone in to our Fit For Life Body Transformation Programme which is opening up again soon…

With a focus on small, simple, often ‘imperfect’, steps (so you can do it even when you’re busy…)
