Overcome negative self talk in 2026

So I was chatting to someone who’s just started our 28-day Kickstart. We were going through the food, the fitness, and the focus in our Kickstart one-to-one, where we put together a starting plan for you (message me with ‘kickstart’ for more info on our January 28 Day Kickstart).

And quite often, it’s difficult to know, right? How much you want to lose?

How fit do you want to get?

Or even what your main goal is?

What’s realistic?

So here are 4 Questions to ask:

1- How much have you lost and kept off for at least a year?

^^ their response? I don’t know, 5- 10lbs or so? So my response ?

2-Okay, so let’s double it to 20 lbs for your next goal, how does that make you feel?

^^  Of course, they are a bit overwhelmed now.

“I’m not sure I can do that”

“I don’t have time”

3-OK, so what if you give yourself

2 years to acheive it?

And all of a sudden, they felt underwhelmed.

“I want to have lost more by then…”

What’s happened here?

The only part giving them overwhelm is the deadline…

Not the actual habits…

So we agreed on 6 months 5-10lbs (it is a broad goal for a reason)

And agreed on the FIRST Food, Fitness and Focus habits.

We will then tweak these as we go, where we review the habit and results to ensure we are on track.

And my last point on this;

What’s the point in getting in shape if you don’t stay in shape?

What’s the point of getting fit if you don’t stay fit?

What’s the point of losing the weight if you don’t keep the weight off?

This is exactly why we do things differently at Fruci Fit…

But it only works if you do.

Meet us half way and trust the process.

Our next 28 Day Kickstart is now open.

Specifically for women 40+, 50+, 60+, and 70+ who pretty much know what to do but want the plan and accountability to do it (as you only get results for done).

You can make it as personal as you like by coming into our private studios in Chippeham, Devizes, or Marlborough OR as convenient as you like by doing it all from home.

Your pace is the right pace..

Matt
