As much as technology gets a bad name…
It’s actually allowed me to get healthier. ..
How?
Walking and working…
Honestly, some of my best ideas, emails, creativity, videos and replies come when I’m out walking.
Because if I sit still too long?
I lose creativity and miss my movement for the day …
I don’t hit my steps and I actually feel more tired and am less produtvie.
But when I get out and walk?
- My brain lights up
- I feel productive
- My mood lifts
- I even get more done
Sure, there are things I can’t do while walking (So I make sure I do ‘laptop’ tasks when I am at my laptop), but that’s exactly why I try to save the walking-friendly jobs — messages, ideas, audios, podcasts, planning — for when I’m on the move.
And I share this because sometimes, that’s all it takes to feel a bit better:
– A 10-minute walk.
– Doing the “easy win” task first so you build momentum.
It’s the same with your fitness.
Don’t worry about the whole mountain. Just take the next step.
