Meet Pip👋 Pip joined Fruci Fit after struggling with back and knee problems.
✅ The physio told her to stop doing breaststroke and with the arthritis in her knee, knew she needed to do something (especially after seeing her mother not being able to walk)
✅ Pip admits she was very suspicious of Fruci Fit (as we all should all be of everything), having tried a gym before but never getting the support she wanted to ensure she knew what she was doing.
✅ Pip initially wanted to lose some weight and get a bit fitter especially for a trip to New Zealand, where she already noticed her clothes fitting better and her body shape changing (not to mention sea kayaking).
✅ One of Pip’s tips was to take measurements to track progress (not just weight), especially when doing resistance exercise (like we do at Fruci Fit) as it’s great to see progress.
✅ Pip finds the 30 minutes sessions help her get motivated and get there. “it’s only half an hour”. But more than this:
✅ “it’s such a community. Meet other women, who are like-minded who bring so much to the sessions…and coffee mornings”
✅ Pip achieved her next goal of doing 5 push ups on her tip toes before her 70th birthday (after starting against the wall).
And to top it off?
✅ Pip completed her first Hyrox fitness competition in November, and I quote:
