“I couldn’t do lots of the exercises…”

I wanted to share this from Helen…

When she first started:

“I really struggled… I couldn’t do lots of the exercises.”

Fast forward…

She’s just completed the Beast of Beacon challenge

“I am strong now but it’s only because I kept coming to class and kept picking up the weights… it creeps up on you.”

That says it all!

Because if you’re honest…

You probably don’t need more information.

You don’t need a perfect plan.

You just need to get going again… and keep going.

At your pace.

Even Helen said something else that stood out:

“I’ve been where most people start…”

That’s the bit people forget.

Everyone you see now feeling fitter, stronger, more confident…

Started where you are.

Not able to do everything.

Unsure.

A bit hesitant.

But they kept showing up.

And here’s the other one she shared:

“I am near the heaviest I have ever been… but I have never felt stronger or fitter.”

Which is why we always say…

Scales don’t tell the full story.

How you feel.

What you can do.

How strong you’re getting.

That’s what matters.
