How Much?

Have to share this with you..

So something we do at the start of our 28 day Kickstart at Fruci Fit (message me with Kickstart for more info) is have a one to one to assess your goals (amongst other things) and put together a food, fitness and focus plan (the infamous 3Fs which underpin your results, no matter how much people say one is more important than the other)..

When it comes to food..

most people actually know what to do…

you might say things like

“I need to cut down on portions”

“I need to reduce fat”

“I need to reduce carbs”

I could go on..

But there is a problem with this…

If you just focus on reducing your portion size…

Sure, you eat fewer calories..

but you also just eat less food..

which might just leave you hungry, tired and struggling to stick to the diet (this is where accountability comes and is a big part of what we do at Fruci Fit)

The problem with that is then you’re probably going to snack later

^^ negating the whole point of reducing portion size.

You may even end up eating more than you did before you decided to ‘reduce your portion size’.

When you look at the research, if they say to

reduce your fat intake VS reduce your fat intake and INCREASE your fruit, vegetables, and low energy dense foods  (which are going to fill your plate, increase the volume and weight of the meal)

They show that people lose more weight and feel more full up with MORE higher volume, low energy dense foods such as fruits and veggies.

Unsurprising to you?

probably.

But you only get results for DOING..

by translating this stuff into actionable advice you can actually do .

Consistently and for long enough…

So think today and practice for yourself, if you are looking to get a handle on weight loss or your hunger, consider what could you add to your meal?

After all, it’s not about just getting fit, it’s about getting fit and staying fit,

It’s not about just losing weight, it’s losing weight and keeping the weight off.

So think today

How can you increase these low energy dense foods, like fruit and vegetables?

Boil, steam, mash, grill, whatever, however you like them.
