Frustrated with results? Consider this

Expecting instant results? Read this before you start…

So the other week…(Bank Holiday Weekend)

We are coming back from a fun afternoon kayaking with the kids…

and…

Our car breaks down.

Recovery guy shows up, gives it a quick once-over and says:

“Yeah… engine’s cooked.”

Although I am not an advocate of just eating raw food…I’m pretty sure it is not good to cook an engine (even with my limited car knowledge)

And like everything..

…Seems to be taking a lot longer than I thought..

Which reminded me of something I often talk about when it comes to getting in shape:

Expectations matter…

Because if you go into something thinking it’ll be “sorted” in a week…

You’ll probably be disappointed.

And when we feel disappointed?

We stop.

In fact, studies show your expectation can literally change how your body responds.

In one experiment, they gave people the same shake…

But told half the group it was a full-fat, indulgent treat, as shown by the packaging.

And told the other half it was a light, low-calorie “diet” version, as shown by the packaging.

What happened?

The people who thought they had the indulgent one?

Felt fuller — and their hunger hormones responded as if they’d eaten more.

All because of their expectations.

So what does this have to do with the 28-Day Kickstart?

Simple:

If you expect to do one session and suddenly feel like Wonder Woman…

You’ll probably feel let down.

But if you expect that it’s going to take a few weeks of small steps…

And that you’ll feel better, move easier, and actually enjoy getting stronger…

You’ll win.

It takes time and consistency…

  • No pressure.
  • No “go hard or go home”.
  • Just progress, at your pace, so you can keep going for long enough to get the results you want (even if you have to adapt…that is part of the process)

So if you’re 40, 50, 60, 70 or beyond and know what to do but just need the plan and a bit of accountability?

Just message me with “Kickstart” and I’ll send you the details.
