Do what you CAN do, boring, I know

So… two days after knackering my knee at football, I had two options:

1) Feel sorry for myself

2) Focus on what I CAN do

And you know me… option 2 every time (even if I did shuffle upstairs on my bum like a wounded crab).

Here’s the thing though — this is EXACTLY what the 28-Day Kickstart is all about.

Not perfection.

Just doing what you can, where you are, with the body you have today.

Most people wait for the “perfect time” …

When knees don’t hurt

When life calms down

When motivation magically appears

But as I found out this week, you can go from running around a pitch to barely hobbling  in 10 seconds.

So the key is simple:

Focus on what you 

CAN

 do

Not what you can’t.

Not what isn’t perfect.

Not what went wrong.

Not what you were able to do when you were younger …before kids … when you didn’t have the job you have etc..

Inside the 28 Day Kickstart, every session has options.

Options if your knee is dodgy.

If your back is tight.

If you’re nervous.

If you’re brand new.

If you haven’t exercised for years.

There is always a version you can do — and that’s how confidence builds… one “I can do that!” at a time.

When you surprise yourself once…

You do it again.

Not because everything was perfect.

But because they turned up and did what they could.

Bodies won’t magically feel younger.

And motivation doesn’t appear out of thin air (sadly).

But what does work?

Starting small.

Starting simple.

Starting with support.

Starting with what you CAN do.
