Someone asked me this recently.
And the answer is:
Yes.
Obviously, it depends on the person.
What’s going on with the knee.
What your GP, physio or consultant has said.
And what movements currently feel okay.
But a bad knee doesn’t automatically mean you can’t exercise.
It means we may need to adapt.
That’s exactly why Fruci Fit is coach-led.
You’re not handed a workout and left to it.
We can:
Check your technique.
Change the exercise.
Change the depth.
Use a chair.
Take out impact.
Add more rest.
Or swap something completely.
And it pains me when people say:
“I don’t want to be a nuisance.”
You’re not a nuisance.
This is how we are different.
I’ve appreciated this even more since my own knee injury.
ACL.
Both meniscus.
Surgery.
Knee brace.
Rehab.
Lots of boring exercises.
^^ especially the boring ones
And plenty of reminders to:
Focus on what you CAN do.
Bad knee?
We adapt.
Sore hip?
We adapt.
Shoulder issue?
We adapt.
Nervous about the floor?
We adapt.
Head, shoulders, knees and toes aching?
We adapt

A bad knee doesn’t mean do nothing.
Do something different.
With support.
At your pace.
