I received this message recently…
Around a year ago, her blood pressure readings were around 150/86–90.
Four months ago, her medication was reduced from 10mg to 5mg.
With the healthcare team closely monitoring the transition.
And now?
They’ve told her she can stop taking it.
She’ll continue checking her blood pressure every day.
But no more medication.

Amazing
She feels her increased fitness and changes to her diet have played a big part.
Now…
Before anyone reads this and throws their tablets in the bin.
Please don’t
^^ definitely not the message here
I’d be lying if I said:
“Join Fruci Fit and you’ll come off your blood pressure medication.”
It won’t happen for everyone.
There are lots of different variables involved.
And medication should only ever be reduced or stopped by the healthcare professional looking after you.
Not me.
Not Google.
And definitely not an Instagram post from a local nutritionist and personal trainer
But this is an amazing example of what can happen when small, consistent habits add up.
Moving more.
Getting stronger.
Improving your fitness.
Making better food choices more often.
Losing some weight if that’s appropriate for you.
Then repeating those things long enough for them to make a difference.
Results aren’t always just:
“What does the scale say?”
Sometimes it’s a dress fitting.
Getting off the floor.
Keeping up with the grandchildren.
Having more energy.
Feeling stronger.
Or your healthcare professional reviewing your progress and changing your medication under proper supervision.
They’re all results.
And none of them usually happen from one perfect week.
They happen from doing what you can.
Then doing it again.
