Good reminder for a Monday…

It’s Monday.

Which means most of us have two possible routes.

Route one:

Get the workout done.

Or at least have it booked in.

Have a decent breakfast.

Have some sort of plan for lunch.

Maybe even snacks that aren’t just “whatever is closest when I’m hungry.”

Route two:

Life happens.

Workout doesn’t happen.

Breakfast is random.

Lunch is random.

The day runs away.

Then by the evening you think…

“I’ll do better tomorrow.”

And I get it.

Because I’ve been there.

Even now.

You might think because I’m a coach, I wake up every Monday with everything figured out and super motivated…

Workout done.

Protein eaten.

Meditation completed.

Hair looking suspiciously fresh.

^^ Ok, maybe you know me well enough that’s not the case..

Absolutely not.

Some mornings I’m thinking:

“Can I be bothered today?”

“Do I need another coffee before the workout?”

“Could I just do this tomorrow?”

And sometimes that’s fine.

Sometimes your body is telling you something.

Maybe you need more rest.

Maybe the plan is too much.

Maybe life is just a bit full on.

But if it’s always tomorrow…

That’s when we probably need to look at it.

And usually it’s one of two things.

Either lower the barrier.

Do something smaller.

5 minutes.

10 minutes.

A walk.

A short workout.

Something.

Because something is nearly always better than nothing.

Or…

Get more support and accountability.

Because trying to do it all on your own is hard.

Especially when work, family, tiredness, motivation, weather and the biscuit cupboard are all against you…

And that’s one of the reasons Fruci Fit works so well for a lot of women.

And slowly, Monday stops becoming another “I’ll start again tomorrow.”
