“Why don’t you just let people come in whenever they want and use the equipment?”
Keypad access.
Open gym.
Rent the kit.
Do your own thing.
And I get why people ask.
On paper, it sounds more flexible.
But for most of the women we help at Fruci Fit, that would recreate the exact problem they came to us to solve.
Because most people have already tried a normal gym.
The one where you pay for access to a room full of shiny equipment…
Then it’s up to you to:
Know what to do
Motivate yourself
Push yourself
Keep turning up
And for many people, even me sometimes…
That’s hard.
Not because you’re lazy.
Not because you don’t care.
But because it can feel boring, intimidating, confusing and very easy to put off.
“I’ll go later.”
“I’ll go tomorrow.”
“I’ll start again next week.”
And that £20 membership can become quite expensive when you look at the results you actually get from it.
That’s why Fruci Fit is different.
The whole point of what we do is:
Structure
Coaching
Support
Accountability
You book into a session.
A coach is expecting you.
Other women are there too.
You’re guided through it.
Exercises are adapted.
You’re encouraged.
And you probably do more than you would have done on your own.
That’s the bit that matters.
Not just the equipment.
The support around it.
And yes, life happens.
Kids, work, holidays, aches, appointments, all the usual chaos.
But if we notice you haven’t been in…
We care.
We check in.
Because we don’t want you quietly slipping away.
I remember working in a gym years ago where the attitude was basically:
“Don’t contact people who aren’t coming… you might remind them to cancel.”
What is the point of being in this industry if that’s your mindset?
I’d much rather someone came to 2-3 coached sessions a week that they actually turn up to, enjoy and progress from…
Than have unlimited access to equipment they don’t use.
Because most people don’t need more freedom.
They need the right structure.
Someone expecting them.
A place they feel comfortable walking into.
And to know that if they disappear for a bit…
Someone notices.
That’s why we do it the way we do.
Matt
