“Don’t judge me…”
That’s what someone said to me yesterday.
Then they told me they were taking weight loss injections.
My first thought was…
Why would I judge you?
Because people often feel like they need to confess things around food, weight loss, diets, injections, shakes, whatever it might be.
Like they’re doing something “wrong”.
But at Fruci Fit, that’s not how we look at it.
Because whatever approach someone is using, the goal is still the same.
Can we help you build habits that support you long term?

And for most women we work with, especially in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond, there are usually two big things we want to improve:
Protein intake.
Resistance exercise.
^^ boring, I know.
Not hormones, not cortisol, not charging you hundreds to do tests with limited validity…
Protein helps with fullness, recovery, muscle, strength and feeling satisfied.
Resistance exercise helps with strength, bone density, balance, everyday tasks, confidence and independence.
So whether someone is taking weight loss injections…
On a quick weight loss diet with shakes…
Counting calories…
Trying to eat more wholefoods…
Or just trying to control your snacking a bit better…
The conversation is still the same.
What’s working?
What isn’t?
What can we keep?
What can we improve?
What habits do we want to build long term?
Because we don’t have a blanket “this is the diet” approach.
People come in at different stages.
Different lifestyles.
Different worries.
Different experiences.
And sometimes something short term gives someone structure, momentum, or a bit of confidence.
That’s okay.
We can work with that.
Take the good bits.
Remove the bits that aren’t helping.
And keep moving towards better long-term habits.
Because weight loss is rarely a perfectly straight line.
It goes up.
It goes down.
Life happens.
You learn.
You adjust.
You take the next action.

That’s the bit that matters.
Not “I’ve ruined it now”.
Just support, honesty, and helping you do more of the things that actually help.

PS. The basics still matter whatever route you take. Protein, strength work, consistency, support. Not very sexy. But very useful. And the results can be sexy…
