That “I’ll start Monday” plan didn’t quite happen?
Good.
(Not being sarcastic… stick with me)
Because this is exactly where most people go wrong.
They miss one day…(even if it’s a Bank Holiday)
Then it becomes:
“Ah well… I’ll just start next week now”
And suddenly one missed day turns into 7.
But here’s the truth most people need to hear:
You don’t need a Monday.
You need a moment.
Tuesday works.
Today works.
In fact, someone (or you) will say “it feels like a Monday today”)…
Even later today works.
This is especially true if you’re someone who maybe used to be fitter, more “on it”…
Because you’ve got this weird pressure in your head of:
“I should be doing more than this…”
“I used to be better than this…”
So if it’s not a perfect start… it doesn’t count.
But it does count.
In fact, this is where confidence actually comes from.
Not from perfect weeks…
From doing something when it would be easier to do nothing.
^^ that’s a massive win
