So today we have our in house Fruci Fit FruciRox event where over 60 women will take on a challenge, working at their pace, together, having fun, and cheering each other on…
All the prep and showing up is done..
Now time to enjoy it and celebrate what their body CAN do…
Even if there are aches and pains along the way..

Got started despite the arthritis and falls…
And now stronger…and no longer prediabetic..
Because it’s not just about fitness at that point…
It’s your confidence.
Your independence.
Your future.
Diagnosed with osteoarthritis in her knees.
Prediabetic.
This is exactly where so many people get stuck.
Because you know you need to do something…
…but you don’t want another boring gym.
You don’t want to feel out of place.
You don’t want to start something you won’t stick to.
So what happens?
We wait.
We overthink it.
We say “I’ll start Monday.”
And Monday keeps moving.
The secret?
Getting starting..
Like Kathryn did.
Not confident.
Not fully convinced.
Just… willing to try.
Even in her 70s 🙂
And this is the bit I always come back to…
She didn’t overhaul her whole life.

Some sessions better than others.

Fast forward a few months…
Her knees are stronger.
Her legs are stronger.
She’s moving better.
Feeling better.
And then the big one…
Her latest blood test came back…
No longer prediabetic.
Back in the normal range.
And that’s not from doing anything extreme.
It’s from doing the basics…
Consistently.
In an environment where she felt comfortable.
Supported.
Not judged.
Where exercises were adapted for her.
Where she could build confidence at her own pace.
She also said something that summed it up perfectly…
“I’m so much happier now I’ve found something that actually works for me.”
And that’s the whole point.
Not just “getting fit”.
But finding something you can actually stick to.
That fits your life.
That builds you up instead of knocking you back.

PS. Now off to cheer on over 60 women from Fruci Fit do our fitness event today. And yep, they’ve all said “I could never do that”… But we like to do things a bit differently at Fruci Fit. It[s not just an event, it’s coaching, friendship, community and motivation.
PPS. If someone is finding it easy, I may just pretend my knee is hurting and sit on the sled push so they have to push me along too.
