Most of your wins will feel boring (until one day they’re not)

I wanted to share something that’s come up a lot inside Fruci Fit.

You’ll have seen posts like:

• trousers fitting again

• lifting heavier than before

• signing up for events you’d never have considered

• feeling stronger, fitter, more organised

And they’re brilliant. It’s what it’s all about.

But here’s the bit that often gets missed…

Most progress doesn’t feel exciting at the time.

Most wins you see and need to celebrate  are actually pretty small habits:

• you made it to sessions when you nearly cancelled

• you planned a couple of meals instead of winging it

• you moved your body even when motivation was low

• you did more than last week (not everything, just more)

That’s still progress.

In fact, the majority of your wins won’t be tangible.

They’ll be pretty boring.

You probably won’t post about them.

You might even forget they count.

But they compound.

And then one day you get the wow moment:

• those trousers in the back of the wardrobe fit

• you lift something in the garden you couldn’t before

• stairs feel easier

• your confidence quietly shifts

And it feels like it came out of nowhere.

It didn’t.

It came from all the “unexciting” stuff you kept doing when no one was clapping.

That’s exactly what the 28 Day Kickstart is about.

Just:

• a plan you can actually stick to

• accountability to keep showing up

• support when life gets busy

• progress at your pace

If you’re doing a bit more than last week, you’re moving forward.

Even if it doesn’t feel like it yet.

And if you need help with the doing part — message me with “kickstart” and I’ll get you the details.

As always, your pace is the right pace.

Matt
