This worked better than I thought

I had a few conversations over the last few weeks that reminded me of something really important…

Simple works.

Especially when it comes to nutrition and protein, we often think it has to be complicated.

Meal prep containers. Perfect macros. Fancy recipes. Timings. Ratios. Calculators.

And yes — there is a time and place to go into the nitty-gritty.

But quite often?

I’ve seen some of the best results from the simplest changes.

Things like:

• Baked beans on toast for dinner instead of skipping a meal and snacking all night

• Scrambled eggs on toast when energy is low and you need an easy meal

• A clear whey drink during the day to stay fuller on the go (like this one   https://amzn.to/45pTslR )

• Mixing protein powder into porridge so it actually keeps you going , like one https://amzn.to/4qB6K7N

• Yogurt, berries and protein stirred together in two minutes

It’s not fancy..

It’s not perfect.

But it is effective and doable.

And you only get results for done.

What changed wasn’t just calories or protein numbers…

It was hunger, fullness, energy, and consistency.

When things are simple, people actually do them.

And that’s the bit that matters.

You don’t need a perfect week.

You need repeatable habits.

That’s one of the big focuses inside the 28 Day Kickstart (message me with “kickstart” for more info — not extreme plans or “all-or-nothing,” but practical things that fit into real life. Busy days, tired evenings, school runs, work, everything.

Because most people don’t struggle with knowledge.

They struggle with overcomplicating and then doing nothing.

Simple meals.

Simple structure.

Simple accountability.

Doable beats perfect every time.

If this week feels busy or you’re trying to “get back on track,” start with one small simple win rather than ten big changes.

It adds up faster than you think

Matt
