Cravings when working from home?

Ever notice how when you’re working from home, the snack cupboard somehow calls you?

You know the one — always calling your name, always “checking in.”

You’re not alone.

I was chatting about this the other day and it really comes down to three simple (but powerful) things

1 Plan like you’re going out for the day.

When people say, “I’m fine when I’m in the office,” it’s usually because everything’s planned — lunch, snacks, drinks, done.
But at home? The plan goes out the window.
Treat your day at home exactly the same — prep your lunch and snacks the night before like you would a packed lunch for the kids.

2 Portion, don’t pick.

Instead of grabbing from the packet (which somehow disappears faster than expected), portion things out in bowls or tubs.
Out of sight = out of mind / mouth.

3 Ask the real question.
Why do we snack more when we’re alone?
Is it boredom? Stress?
Or maybe it’s that no one’s there to see…

But here’s the thing — your goals, your energy, your confidence, your why — remind yourself of these. We call these benefit cards in the 28 Day Kickstart (as a polite kick up the bum as to why you even care about doing this anyway. Whether it is fitting into that dress, the holiday,  feeling great and like you again or getting up and down with ease to play with the kids / grandkids…)

If you’d like my free book to help you overcome cravings? Just message or comment with cravings.
