Forgive me if this is too much information, but the loo has become the quietest place in the house with 3 kids haha

As much as love the camaraderie, a quiet few minutes is always nice…even if it is on the loo haha

Before the kids need something…be it food, clubs, food, clubs, or more food haha

But it reminded me of something…

They are persistent when they want something…

Be it to take their bikes somewhere

Or another snack before bed…

I saw some stats about gyms the other day:

– 50% of new gym members quit within 6 months

– 18% never even attend

I’ve worked in some commercial gyms before…

I’ve seen the same thing play out again and again…

(in fact, some gyms rely on people not coming to survive…where as we nag you to get you to come in haha)

People join full of motivation.

Then… life happens.

No support.

No guidance.

No one to check in when you don’t show up.

People get bored…

Sit there on their phones …

And when I look back, it’s why I have always wanted to do things differently at Fruci Fit.

It was actually working in Public Health and the NHS, seeing like minded people together and the difference in the community and support from like minded people being together, which really brought this home for me…

Are we perfect at Fruci Fit? Nope. 

There is always more we want to do. 

But I know from experience (and thousands of conversations with women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond) that if nothing changes… nothing changes.
