I was away for the weekend with the family over Easter..
I’ve got this habit I really try to stick to:
Getting up before the kids, getting a bit of movement in—
just to clear my head, get some work done, workout, and start the day in a better place.
Here’s the catch:
No coffee.
I kept my routine exactly the same…but there was no coffee. I couldn’t make it as all 3 kids and me and Mrs Fruci were in 1 room and I didn’t want to wake them up (or that’s my whole morning routine out).
Normally I’d tell myself, “I can’t work out without my coffee first.”
And I’ll admit. I nearly went back to bed. “I won’t be as strong”. And to top it off? No signal or anywhere to link WiFi too at 530am…
But – and I’m glad I did or I bet I would have been a bit irritable – I did the workout.
Because sometimes we don’t realise how often we’re running on autopilot.
Saying the same things.
Doing the same things.
Believing the same stuff about ourselves—without ever questioning it.
But what if those little stories we tell ourselves… aren’t actually true?
This is where real change begins.
Not in doing more, but in thinking differently.
Challenging our mindset- the set of beliefs that are so powerful our behaviour confirms to them
And that’s exactly what we focus on in the 28-Day Kickstart.
Yes, we cover food. Yes, we move more (the fitness).
But most importantly—we look at the mindset (focus) that holds it all together.
So what’s one thing you do that you could challenge today? Or even question?
If you’re ready to challenge a few old thoughts and get into a better headspace (with or without coffee)…
Message me with “Kickstart” and I’ll send you all the details.
Specifically for women 40+, 50+, 50+ and 70+ who pretty much know what to do but need the plan and accountability to do it.
Oh and I won’t be giving up coffee by the way. The research is too good on it improving cognitive performance and physical performance, if used correctly of course. Oh and I love the smell and making it in the morning.
