I was chatting to someone the other day after a session who, kind of jokingly, said:
“I just want my eggs to last until Easter… when I see the grandkids!”
Easter is here and chocolate is not only everywhere..
But the norm (making it harder) ..
But here’s the thing…
A lot of the time, it’s not just about the chocolate.
It’s about awareness.
Self awareness of knowing why and what you are doing..
There’s this story I love:
Two fish are swimming along. Call them mackerel. One turns to the other and says,
“How’s the water?”
The other replies,
“What the hell is water?”
Most people read that and say “What does that mean?”
The moral of the story is that they are so IN the water..
They don’t even realise they’re in it…
And that’s what it’s like with cravings sometimes — we’re so in it, we don’t even stop to notice what’s really going on.
Stress, boredom, habit… next thing you know, the egg you bought for the kids is “mysteriously” gone.
That’s why I put together this FREE Cravings Guide — to help you feel more in control before you’re halfway through a foil wrapper.
Simple tips. No guilt. No boring rules.
Just a better understanding of what’s really going on — so you can enjoy Easter and still have eggs left when the family shows up
My favourite part is the bit about psychological and physiological hunger (page 4).
Message or comment with cravings and I can send it over
Matt
