Why “All or Nothing” Isn’t Working…

If you’ve ever told yourself:

-“I’ll start again Monday.”
– “I messed up, so what’s the point?”
– “I don’t have time to do everything today…”

You’re not alone — but this all-or-nothing thinking is exactly why many so many struggle to see results.

^^ including me with this…but the more I am aware of this the better. I mean, even I surprise myself by how much better I feel doing SOMETHING rather than nothing.

The truth is… you don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to be consistent with the small things that matter.

We talk about this every morning in our private group in Fruci Fit – choosing 3 simple things each day:

– One thing for your food
/ – One thing for your fitness
/- One thing for your focus

Even on your worst days, doing those small non-negotiables adds up – and stops that spiral of self-sabotage.

Because it’s not about doing everything.
It’s about doing the one thing you keep putting off.

That’s how you build momentum.
That’s how you take back control.
And that’s how you finally get results — without burning out or giving up.

I mean, I was travelling a bit last week and attended a workshop in Newcastle, 5 hour train journey on Wednesday evening, workshop on Thursday and then 5 hour train journey back Thursday night.

To give you an idea, here are 3 Non negotiables I committed to even this:

  1. Protein snacks for on the go → greek yoghurt, beef jerky, mackerel ( decided against opening this on the train out of respect for others haha), boiled eggs, protein shake
  2. Easy travel foods – Grapes and blueberries. Nutritious, hydrating and filling 🙂 Easy and unmessy way to get nutrients and fibre in.
  3. 20 minute workout – first thing before any interruptions or looking at my phone (OK, I lie, I did look at my phone but I tried not to and still did the workout. See, it’s not about being perfect) << When I am at home, I will commit to 10 sets of pull ups throughout the day, at different times, be it when going to the loo or boiling the kettle. Push ups and squats work too. It is these little things that add up and make your worst day a little bit better

Ready to keep it simple and start feeling in control again?
Just reply “SIMPLIFY” or drop me a message and I’ll show you how we do it

And I will leave you with this:

Compare yourself doing your best VS you giving up…

Matt
