I used to think it was expensive…

So it’s currently 7am and I have just got my morning coffee when writing this

Having been to the studio and delivered some early morning one to one and couples personal training sessions

^^ Yes we do train couples if you want to share your journey with someone else, and one to one for mens and women with our Summer Kickstart(reply with ‘Summer’ and I will get you the details )

And even in my head I am thinking:

“This coffee is expensive”…

As I hand over £3.05…

For something I could make at home for a fraction of the price.

It probably stemmed from the fact I saw someone I knew in the queue, who was just getting a takeaway

And said they needed to stop this expensive habit..

^^ partly for the calories of their large mocha but also because of the £4 a day or so it costs them..

But then something dawned on me..

I literally get done 3 times if not 5 times the amount of work in a coffee shop than I do at home…

Maybe it’s me?

But I like the noise

(I remember being at Loughborough University and studying in the library…anyone breathing too heavily or even the drop of a pen, would break my concentration…Is that just me, or is that you too?)

I gathered I am 3,5 if not 6 times more productive as I:

→ Don’t have any distractions

→ Don’t get tempted to get another coffee or eat (as you have to pay for it…whereas at home it is there and easy to grab, which in the end probably costs me more than the £3 coffee haha)

→ Need to be back by a certain time

And the benefits of this?

→ I am more present when I am home so I can have more time and fun with the kids rather than being half working and half playing

→ I feel better knowing I have got what I need to do done

→ I can concentrate on one thing at a time..

Why am I sharing this?

Well, it’s similar when getting a coach ..

(like in our Summer 28 Day Kickstart…reply with ‘Summer’ and I will l get you the details)

It seems expensive..

But when you consider:

→ That you actually show up and do it (rather than have a gym membership and barely go)

→ You understand what works for you

→ you save on meal plan books, recipe books, diets, glucose monitors, DNA tests and all of the other fancy stuff which are just distractions from what actually WORKS…

→ Not to mention you make better choices with the food, and some people even mention how much they save from less alcohol, on the go food you name it…

And most importantly?

When you get results?

You get closer to the things you say you want..

→ Fitting into those favourite clothes

→ Feeling fitter and stronger

→ Being able to say YES to more things

→ Having the confidence to do more, go out, go for new jobs, social events you name …

→ Have the mobility to keep up with the kids and grandkids

And handle stress better, whilst boosting your energy.

I could go on.

Food for thought?

But I know I will be actually doing this £3 coffee a bit more often ..

As for me?

It is worth it to spend more time with the kids.
