Boredom eater? Try this…

I’d be there 

Hunched over the kitchen side

Eyes scrolling through my phone 📱 

Whilst munching away on anything that’s around 

Unaware of exactly how much I’ve eaten …

How much I’ve chewed…

Can barely remember the taste…

I guess it was something to do?

It felt like I was doing something so I didn’t feel so guilty about “doing nothing”

Sound familiar?

Yep, I’ll admit.

I’m-  so called –  “guilty” of boredom eating too.

But here’s the thing 

(And this might surprise you)

Does boredom eating actually make you less bored?

I mean, when you look  at the word “bored”,

Here’s what it means:

“feeling weary and impatient because one is unoccupied or lacks interest in one’s current activity”

And I’ll say now

If boredom eating generally makes you happier and less bored?

Then go for it. 

If it doesn’t?

Consider this:

What are the benefits of doing?

What are the costs of doing?

Who would you be without this habit?

What would be different in your life if you got. A handle on this?
