Why your waistline isn’t changing (yet)

Something I hear a lot is:

 “My waistline isn’t changing.”

“My tummy shape looks the same.”

And I get it… it’s frustrating.

But here’s the truth:

Your waistline is usually the last place you’ll notice change.

^^^ I know, that’s not nice to hear. You don’t have to like it, it is easier if you accept it though. I’ll explain why..

That doesn’t mean you’re not making progress.

Far from it.

You’ll often see changes first in:

  • How your clothes fit in other areas
  • Your strength in sessions
  • Your energy and mood
  • Your heart and bone health
  • That sense of achievement from showing up

These are the quick, early wins that come along the way to long-term results.

The challenge? When we don’t see instant changes around the waist, it’s tempting to think:

 “It’s not working.”

“Screw it, I’ve messed up now.”

But it’s consistency through the tough weeks that creates the real change.

Not perfection. Not going “all in” for a few days, then giving up.

The quicker you can shorten the “off track” moments — the weekend wobble, the missed plan, the takeaway that turns into 3 days off — the better your long-term results will be.

That’s exactly what we work on in the 28 Day Kickstart:

  • A simple food plan (with a focus on protein at every meal and our meal maker to keep you full)
  • Coach-led sessions (adapted to your fitness level)
  • Support and accountability so you keep going — even when life gets in the way

If you’ve been frustrated that your waistline hasn’t changed yet, just know: it doesn’t mean it won’t.

Keep going!!

And if you’re struggling to keep going?

Message me with Marlborough, Devizes, or Chippenham and I’ll send you the details for our next 28 Day Kickstart.

Specifically for women 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+ and beyond who pretty much know what to do but need the plan and accountability to keep going..
