Want more energy?

I’ll be honest..

There are many days

Where I just feel tired.

Maybe I snoozed my alarm..

Then didn’t get my own workout in

Then the kids are up early.

Then I’m beating myself for not doing the workout (which is exhausting)..

Then maybe I flick through my phone

And see some horrifically gripping news story which 

Draws me in

Which takes more of my energy…

Now I have the debate of putting myself first and doing a workout or taking the kids to the park…

You get the picture. 

And I am sharing this because

Well,

I am not perfect (if you didn’t know already)

Now, I don’t always ‘fight it’..

But – most of the time – I will do what I need to do rather than what I want to do..

It has come through practice. 

Simply because I know that when you act based on how I want to feel, you will feel better. 

And feeling unproductive is something I don’t ever feel comfortable doing.

It is just not me. (maybe that is a story I am telling myself, ay?)
