The sun’s been out lately… and so is the thought of “I should probably do something about my fitness…”
Sound familiar?
If you’re thinking about starting a weight loss / diet / fitness kickstart plan — or just getting back into a routine — here are 3 things I want you to consider (based on a quick video I did last week):
1) Just start.
Sounds simple, I know. Stop overthinking it.
Should I try this diet? That workout? Is this the best thing for me?
You won’t actually know until you start.
Try a walk today.
A few squats.
Join a class and give resistance training a go — especially if you’re 40+ and want to protect your joints, bones, and strength long-term.
Because progress doesn’t come from “the perfect plan”…
It comes from doing something.
2) Focus on what you can control.
You can’t control your weight day to day.
But you can control your habits.
- Did I walk today?
- Did I drink my water?
- Did I eat some veggies?
- Did I do a workout?
These are the habits we focus on inside the 28-Day Kickstart — Food, Fitness, and Focus. (reply with ‘28 day kickstart’ and I will get you more details)
And it just so happens that if you do these habits? The scale will probably go in the right direction (eventually).
3) Don’t expect miracles.
There’ll be days where it all goes a bit sideways (life, right?).
But it’s not about being perfect.
Don’t mess up twice. And focus on the next decision.
Remember: “You’re one decision away from being back on track.”
Use the next meal, the next moment, the next day… to put it right.
If you’re in your 40s, 50s, 60s or 70s+ and want to:
– Get fitter
– Feel better in your clothes
– Have more energy and fewer aches
– And finally stick to something that works for you…
Then the 28-Day Kickstart could be what you need.
Message me with “kickstart” and I’ll send you all the details.
Matt
