The best supplement in the world?

Tears dripping down….

Hands grazed..

Knees grazed…

“Can you make it better?”

My 3 year old daughter says to me holding her hand..

Asking me to breathe into her hand..

And make a funny noise – like I am a robot fixing it.

Before saying ‘all better’..

And just like that.

The tears are gone..

She’s laughing..

My point here?

placebo is a really powerful thing.

Probably the best supplement in the world…

They can give people a sugar pill, say it is going to give you more energy…

And people will feel they ‘have more energy’…

So how can you use this for you?

Well, your mind is capable of more than what you think.

What you fill it with will dictate how you feel..

So here are 3 things you can do today:

  1. Write down one thing you did well yesterday (can be anything) → went for a walk, got some water in, lots of veggies, spent time with family, worked out. Whatever it is. Productive day at work. 

Energy flows where your attention goes 🙂 

If your energy is not on what you’re doing well…

It will always be on what you are not doing well (which can be exhausting)

  1. Stop judging others —> the more you judge others, the less you’ll worry about what others think of you.

Which just so happens to give you a hell of a lot of energy …

  1. Do something fun for you today → read, meditate, walk, sing, dance, listen to your favourite song. Whatever you choose..

Grab a pen and make a list of things that make you happy:

4.

5.

Then do one.

Some of mine include going for a walk, listening to music, dancing with the kids, workout, listening to a podcast, doing a live video, writing a blog like this. 

Whatever it is, just do it.

Can’t think of anything?
