Stuck in a plateau? This might be why

Ever feel like you’re showing up…

…but not really getting stronger or fitter?

That’s what we call a plateau – and it happens to everyone.

The good news? Sometimes it’s not about doing something new or fancy. It’s about the small tweaks that add up.

Here’s what I mean:

– The other day, we noticed that in the last few seconds of a set, some people stop early, especially when I count down and get stuck at 3….

Let’s say you’ve got 5 seconds left, you stop at 3…that’s 2 reps left in the tank.

Now imagine you do that 10 times in a session = 20 reps left behind.

Come 3 sessions a week? That’s 60 reps you could have done.

– Same with strength training. If you’re always finishing with 4 reps still in reserve, and you could do a few more?

Maybe it’s time to slightly increase the weight. That small change over time = more volume, more progress.

It’s the compound effect – little wins, stacked up over weeks, build big results.

I talked about this in a video here too https://youtube.com/shorts/tXZHmYKJdT0

And that’s exactly what the 28 Day Kickstart (message me with ‘Kickstart’ for more info) is about.

We don’t throw you into crazy “all or nothing” workouts.

We help you build the small, doable habits that add up to big changes.

So, what could you do today? (even if it is not ideal or perfect)?

Matt
