She lost a stone — but that’s not the best part

I was chatting with someone on our Fruci Fit Kickstart (reply with ‘Kickstart’ for more info) the other day who’s just lost a stone in weight before her holiday

But here’s the best bit…

She’s still going strong three months later.

Because she didn’t JUST focus on the scales.

She started celebrating the other wins…

Now, what other wins you might ask?

Well, these can vary for everyone, but here are just a few I have had from the past week:

  • Getting up and down from the floor more easily
  • Clothes fitting better
  • Feeling stronger and more confident
  • Lifting heavier weights
  • Not being out of breath walking up hills
  • Showing up when I didn’t feel like it or want to (and it was dark outside) 

And funny enough, when you focus on those things — the scales tend to follow anyway.

Consistency beats perfection every time.

It’s not about how fast you can drop a few pounds — it’s about building something that actually lasts.

And a quick tip if you’re weighing yourself:

Either put the scales away and check once a month — or weigh daily, add them up over a week, then divide by 7 to find your weekly average. That way, you see the real trend — not the daily ups and downs.

^^ which leave you feeling up and down… hence the emotional reaction of ‘sod it’, ‘ f it’ ‘ “what’s the point?”
