‘Picking’ between meals? Try this

You go shopping and within an hour

The fridge seems to be emptying

The fruit bowl is going down

Yoghurts eaten…

Sound familiar?

With Summer holidays nearly upon us for many

(and already started for some)

We were saying the other day how the kids will literally just pick in the fridge on those rainy, summer days at home..

But to stop this.

We can get them to make a lunchbox ..

And it’s the same when it comes to us.

Like, as I write this now from Rowdey Cow Cafe next to the Fruci Fit Devizes studio ..

The only food I have with me is what I will eat.

(unless I want an ice cream from the cafe…)

Whereas when I am at home?

It is sooo much easier to pick…

So one thing you can do today ?

Make a lunchbox..

Make a snack box.

“Today I will only eat what is in my lunchbox”

Why?

Fewer decisions to make..

More productivity

AND

You actually know how much you ate..

(rather than picking and not really being present or knowing how much you are eating).

This also works well for when at an office too with biscuits left, right and centre..

Make a rule:

“I only eat what I bring in …”

Raise your standards:

“I only eat cake if it is homemade”

OR

“I only eat cake on a Friday”

What are your tips from staying in control of your snacks?

Matt
