One thing…

I used to love the Argos catalogue as a kid (do they still exist?).

Here’s the funny thing though…

The average 10-year-old owns 238 toys… but only plays with 12 of them.

I see the same with my kids now.

It’s always the simple stuff they love most.

The cardboard boxes.

The wrapping paper

When you try to play with everything at once, you don’t actually enjoy anything.

Sound familiar?

It’s the same with a lot of diets and fitness plans.

They tell you to:

• Exercise for hours

• Give up your favourite foods

• Track everything

• Go all-in or don’t bother

And guess what happens?

You burn out… or never really start.

What actually works (especially if consistency is your struggle) is starting with less, not more.

Small, doable habits you can keep going:

• A walk

• More protein

• More veg on your plate

• Waiting 20 minutes before seconds

• A glass of water before meals (or that purple Quality Street)

This is exactly how our 28 Day January Kickstart works.

No extremes.

No all-or-nothing.

Just simple habits, accountability, and support that actually sticks.

Because:

Something is always better than nothing.

(Or as I like to say… half-assed is better than no-assed)

Small habits.

Big compound effect.

Merry Christmas Eve (is that a thing? Do people say that?)

Matt
