^^ What would you say to a kid who had those thoughts?
Well, it’s no to different to when that monkey on your shoulder tells you
“I’ve lost my way”
“I can’t do it”
“I feel like I have lost my results”
We can easily fall into this space where we beat ourselves up…
We get critical of ourselves before GETTING CURIOUS…
What do I mean by this?
Well, true transformation comes from the small habits you do.
The issue with this?
Is when life gets hard, feels busy, stress is high?
You fall to your lowest level of training..
Aka
You indulge in behaviours in areas of your life you are already struggling in for instant gratification.
Example:
I could comfort eat for instant gratification or I could go for a walk, read, workout, sing, dance with the kids, have a bath, put my music on…
Question for you:
Will this choice bring me long-term fulfillment or short term gratification? In other words, when you are faced with a choice today:
Can you swap something that you want (short term pleasure) for something that you really want more (the long term fulfillment of achieving your goal?
Sounds simple, right?
Truth is, it is…
You probably know what to do already…
But knowing and not doing is as good as not knowing..
